The Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department will once again host National Night Out Against Crime at
Fire Headquarters located at 495 River Road on Tuesday, August 6th from 6:30 pm until 11:00pm.

Fire Department members will supply music, grills, soda and beer to people of legal drinking age. There will be a special appearance by McGruff, the Crime Dog.

This is a fun event where people get a chance to interact with their local volunteers and it gives the children a chance to explore the Fire House, check out the fire trucks and try on the gear that the firemen use to protect themselves when they are fighting fires.

Kids love it and it gives parents a chance to take a break. Everyone is welcome to come at no cost.

Be sure to bring your favorite food to put on the grill. But don’t worry if you don’t have time to prepare something, there will certainly be extra food available at no cost! Just come on down & relax!
